Our club has a proud history, over nearly 30 years, of welcoming people with different abilities and from different backgrounds. Thursday community table tennis uses table tennis to break down barriers and promote connection. The program runs from 3-5pm each and every Thursday including in school holidays (although we stop over the Christmas school holidays). For our 2025 year planner, go the home page and scroll down.
Our community table tennis program continues to grow. Players include young people living with a disability and their carers, primary and high school students, seniors, seasonal workers, families, DTTL members, and anyone just wanting to have fun and give it a go. We have 9 tables (including 5 wheelchair tables), equipment for everyone, and coaching is available. We also have a table tennis ball machine and a virtual-reality headset (for playing table tennis). It costs a gold coin donation to play (but if you forget just pay next time).
We would like to sincerely thank Deloraine Lions Club and the Meander Valley Council for their ongoing support for our Thursday community table tennis program.
